Willow Lantern Making Workshops

Make a willow lantern for the Lantern Walk (for ages 5 – 105) under the supervision of professional artist and lantern maker Jessica Kemp. These workshops are suitable (and enjoyable!) for both adults and children. The theme of the Lantern Walk this year is Wild Winter Wonderland – theme your lantern with hedgehogs, rabbits, deer, foxes, squirrels, pheasants, robins, sheep and many more!
Morning workshop 10am – 12.30pm
Afternoon workshop 1pm – 3.30pm
Bring your lantern to the Lantern Walk on Saturday 7th December at 5pm starting in the grounds of Southwell Minster, parading to the Minster School.
Booking essential. £5 materials charge. Please wear old clothes and arrive promptly for the beginning of the workshop as it will take the whole 2.5 hour session to complete the lantern.
