Southwell Toy Run for Motorcycles and Scooters

The annual Toy Run event attracts well over 100 motorcycle and scooter riders. Participants bring along gifts suitable for children of all ages, to donate to the Salvation Army Christmas Toy Appeal. The Salvation Army sort and wrap them and pass them to children and families who, for a variety of reasons, do not have much joy in their lives at Christmas time. Members of the public are encouraged to bring along a gift on the morning of the run. Those taking part will be more than happy to take these extra gifts along. Indeed last year we filled a car and a yellow Reliant three wheeler with your donations! Machines and riders will be in seasonal fancy dress; so this is pure carnival! It’s a great spectator moment as we all ride off at 11am. So come and have a look, bring the kids, or give us a wave en route. Starting from Southwell Market Square, we exit down Church Street and go through Upton and Kelham. This event starts at 10am with the ride away at 11am
