‘Happy Families’ A Summer Walking Trail Around Town Centre Shops

Happy Families is a FREE walking trail around Southwell town centre shops.  Character cards will be available to collect from participating shops, plus a poster will appear in participating shop windows too.

How will the trail work?
The trail will be made up of 8 shops in Southwell. Each shop will hold one of the 8 character cards for families and children to collect.  Families will need to visit all 8 shops to collect all 8 collectable cards.

Once all 8 cards have been found, families can enter their details on a trail sheet (which can be obtained from a participating shop on the walking trail) and hand it in to a member of staff at The Wine Bank / Mr and Mrs Fine Wine. The shop owner will collect the sheet on behalf of Newark and Sherwood District Council for entry into the competition to win one of the below prizes.

Prizes include:

• 1 x Family ticket to Snow White at Newark Palace Theatre this festive season

• 1 x £250 Mastercard voucher to spend in a local town centre shop

• 1 x £100 toy bundle from local shops

• 25 x ‘back-to-school’ packs from Osborne Stationers on Kirk Gate

Winners will be announced by Newark and Sherwood District Council in September when the walking trail ends.  Competition terms and conditions will be detailed on the trail sheets.
