Dog Fouling
Members of the public have reported an increase in the incidences of dog fouling around the town. Dog owners and dog walkers are reminded that they must clean up after their dogs. It is an offence not to clear up your dog’s mess. Community Protection Officers are increasing their patrols and fines of up to £1000 will be issued for anyone not clearing up after their dog.
Anti-Social Behaviour
There has been a notable increase in incidences of anti-social behaviour in the vacinity of Church Street toilets, as well as repeated incidents of boken glass being strewn across areas of War Memorial Recreation Ground and the skatepark. Please be assured that Community Proctection Officers and the Police have been asked to increase their patrols in these areas.
