Southwell Local History Society

The Society’s objectives are to encourage the study of the History of Southwell and its area through talks and lectures, research into local history, publication of relevant material and visits places of historical interest both within and outside the area. Indoor meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday in the months September to May inclusive, starting at 7.30pm in the Library. Membership is £15 pa and guests are welcome at meetings at a charge of £3.00. New members are welcome.
